Operational Solutions (OPSOL) supplies the UK Electronic Industry for electronic design, manufacture and outsourcing from its facility in Cramlington, Northumberland.

The privately owned company’s management team have extensive experience in design and manufacturing of electronic products.

They have now chosen to focus this experience directly towards UK businesses – and predominantly the North East – to achieve competitive manufacture and outsourcing solutions.

Managing Director Malcolm Humble, who founded the company six years ago after working for multinational companies, said: “We believe there are opportunities to win business through developing relationships with people.

“We’re not an impersonal company where you deal with someone you don’t know over a telephone. We discuss with our customers their specific requirements and aim to ensure they get what they want. This in effect creates a win-win situation through a focus on service.

“The North East market is substantial in its own right and we believe our growth plans can be achieved by focussing on what lies in our own back yard.”

In the last month OPSOL have started supplying three new customers in the North East and match its commitment to the Buy North East project by itself seeking to source supplies from within the region where possible.
