Major Contract Award for Document Storage Company

NECC member Datastor has been successful in tendering for a 10 year contract with a major North East Local Authority. The contract is for a document storage, retrieval and collection service. Datastor Manager Shaun Turnbull said:
“This is excellent news for Datastor and is testament to the hard work and dedication of all of the staff here at Datastor. Winning the contract has given us the resources to invest in staff training and to develop a new web site alongside a Web Based Client Access database.”
Datastor founded in 1993, is a family run company which provides a document storage and delivery service to a wide range of organisations including, Local Authorities, Solicitors, Accountants, Health Authorities and Retail Companies.
Datastor with support and guidance from Business Link is investing in a training programme for staff which includes Management Training, Fire Safety Training and Fork Lift Training.
Heather Smith Business Development Manager said:
“Investment in staff training is vital to maintain our high service standards. Our training program is part of an ongoing development plan which includes the creation of a new website which will give clients on-line access to their archive.”
Datastor has contracted Sunderland based Azure Design to create a website and to develop warehouse bar coding software in conjunction with the Web Based Client Access database. The new database will give clients instant on-line access to their archive. The secure log in facility will allow clients to request retrievals and collections at the touch of a button.
Datastor are actively investing in the future to provide an enhanced service to clients and ensure job stability. Shaun Turnbull said:
“We don’t take anything for granted we are always seeking to improve the service we provide to our customers.”
