Clipper Meet the Buyer event

A meet the buyer event with Clipper Windpower Marine will be held in Newcastle next month. 

A world-leading developer and manufacturer of wind turbines, Clipper is looking for companies to supply into its new Britannia 10MW Turbine, the largest offshore wind turbine in the world.

 

Clipper are considering setting up a manufacturing plant to make composite 75 m long blades, and another facility to assemble gearboxes and nacelles in the North East of England over the next few years. The design of the turbine will be extensively tested in the NaREC facilities in Blyth.

The event will take place at Newcastle Falcons' Kingston Park Stadium on Thursday 3 December 2009. There will be a full morning schedule comprising information and opportunities in Offshore Wind, the Britannia Turbine and how to supply Clipper Windpower.

 

Places for this event are strictly limited so please register your interest in attending by Wednesday 18 November 2009. Confirmation of attendance will sent to you by 27 November 2009.
